Simply Design and Print : Printfiles / Sizes

Size: Add 2mm of bleed (extra space on the edge of the printed area) to your chosen format (for posters 3mm, for magazines/brochures 5mm). Please set text and any important information at least 3mm from the edge (5mm for posters, 7mm for magazines/brochures). Line weight (thickness) should not be less than 0,08mm 0,25 pt. Negative lines should have a line weight of at least 0,17 mm or 0,5 pt.

Format: No MAC- files! All files must be sent with CMYK-colour settings. Use the following formats only: JPEG, TIFF, PDF. With vector graphic formats all text must be converted to paths! Set up pixel images with 300 dpi to avoid loss of quality during printing.

File transfer: Send your files to: sales@simplydesignandprint.co.uk. Due to the volume of orders, please send files that have been clearly designated to an order (Order number in ‘Subject’ line of email). Once we have received your file(s) you will receive confirmation within 1 hour. Should there be a problem with the file(s), we will contact you.

Design Service: If you require our Team of designers to create your design from scratch, please contact us in advance to ordering, for a quote. Our Design Team will send you a quote depending on the complexity of the job, as well as the print type you’re after (i.e. business cards, posters etc).
